UFC 168 lived up to the hype, and delivered one of the most memorable MMA events in recent memory. The event’s bonuses were announced at the post-fight press conference, with three fighters taking home a larger-than-usual award.
For her armbar submission over Miesha Tate, UFC women’s champion Ronda Rousey earned a $75,000 “Submission of the Night” award. In addition, she and Miesha Tate also earned the “Fight of the Night” award, which comes with a $75,000 bonus for each of them.
Travis Browne meanwhile took home $75,000 for the “Knockout of the Night,” for his elbow KO of Josh Barnett.
UFC 168 took place this past Saturday. In the main event, Chris Weidman defended his middleweight title after former champ Anderson Silva broke his leg during the fight.
