The first bout on the main card not in the tournament was a light-heavyweight battle between Dustin Jacoby (4-2) who was still trying to establish himself in kickboxing with an impressive collection of wins. He will battle Makoto Uehara (15-4-1).

Round 1: Jacoby looked good early. He was pressing the fight and bringing it to  Uehara. Jacoby landed well and pushed Uehara against the corner and was able to tee off.

Round 2: Uehara was again pushed against the ropes but this time he countered and stayed alert. Jacoby saw this and let Uehara out of the corner. Uehara landed a nice hook to the body several times but never set it up with anything, nor did he break with anything after it landed.

Round 3: A brief time out from the referee to ask for more action from Uehara prompted a spinning heel kick from him. The kick missed but it was nice to see from an otherwise stagnant Uehara. Jacoby was winning the fight handily and seemed to take the fight away from Uehara from the opening bell.

However, judges in combat sports are something else and the decision is given to Uehara.

Official Result: Jacoby defeats Uehara via unanimous decision (30-27, 28-29, 30-27)

I see a litle different way this fight,,,
In the video can see wery clear that Uehara have clear punch and high-kick on hes opponent and that bring the points… In the other site he did not received noone clear punch or kick. Thats wy he was wone this time I think.
