UFC Co-Founder Producing First Spanish Language MMA Reality Show

Combate Americas has revealed that they will be producing the first Spanish language MMA reality show. Developing the series is Campbell McLaren, co-founder of the UFC and CEO of  Combate Americas.

MMA Mania reports that the series will follow 10 Hispanic MMA fighters as they compete to win a spot in the new Combate Americas MMA promotion, similar to the structure of The Ultimate Fighter. It will be hosted by musicians Chino & Nacho and MMA journalist Andrea Calle.

Leading Hispanic cable channel mun2 has ordered 10, one-hour episodes of the show, which is currently in production in Miami. The network aims to begin airing the series in 2014.
