The UFC on FOX 9 bonuses were announced at the post-fight press conference, with four fighters taking home an additional $50,000 bonus for their efforts.

Demetrious Johnson earned “Knockout of the Night” for his brutal first round stoppage of Joseph Benavidez. Johnson improves his record to 19-2-1, and has now defended the UFC flyweight belt three times in a row.

Urijah Faber took home the “Submission of the Night” award for his second round guillotine choke finish over Michael McDonald in the night’s co-main event. The veteran fighter is now 30–6, and has likely stepped into range of a title shot.

Lastly, Edson Barboza and Danny Castillo were awarded the coveted “Fight of the Night” bonus, with each of them taking home $50,000 for their three round war. Barboza picked up the majority decision, advancing his UFC record to 7-1, and his overall record to 13-1.

UFC on FOX 9 took place on Saturday at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California.
