According to a report by Bloody Elbow, the UFC has recently signed Zubair Tuhugov and Tae Hyun Bang.
Twenty-two year old Russian Combat Sambo national champion Zubair Tuhugov (15-3) began his profession mixed martial arts career in 2010 and has already racked up a staggering eighteen fights in under four years. Of his fifteen victories, nine have come by decision, five by knockout, and one by submission. The lightweight powerhouse will be making his UFC debut on February 15th at UFC Fight Night 36 against Brazilian Thiago Tavares (18-5-1).
Unlike Tuhugov, Korean standout Tae Hyun Bang (16-7) has been around the sport for quite some time. At thirty years of age, “Macho” has been competing in professional MMA for almost nine and a half years. Since his first fight in 2004, he’s had some mixed successes as fighter but has still managed to pull off a winning record. He was inactive in 2009, 2011, and 2012. Nonetheless, he made a successful return to MMA in June earlier this year when he earned a TKO victory over Joo Dong Hwang. He is currently scheduled to face off against Austrian wrecking machine Maribek Taisumov (20-4) on January 4th at UFC Fight Night 34.
