UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Bigfoot Preliminary Card Results


The UFC headed back to Australia this Friday (Saturday local time) and with it brought a fantastic card filled with fan favorites.

The preliminary card is headlined by a bantamweight bout as Takeya Mizugaki takes on Nam Phan. This will be Phan’s debut in the division. The card starts at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT online and at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 2.

Before the main card kicked off, five undercard fights took the stage. Below are the official results for the entire preliminary card.


Takeya Mizugaki vs. Nam Phan

Two fan favorites capped off the preliminary card with a great fight to set the tone for a main card that on paper promises to deliver. A closely contested bout saw both men share flashes of success. In the end is was Mizugaki who was able to pull out the decision over Phan.

Official Result: Mizugaki defeats Phan via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-28)


Caio Magalhaes vs. Nick Ring

An important middleweight bout for both men became one fighter’s night as Caio Magalhaes was able to handily surmount the attack of Ring and pull out a unanimous decision victory over him.

Official Result: Magalhaes defeats Nick Ring via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)


Justin Scoggins vs. Richie Vaculik

A flyweight bout brought back some excitement to the preliminary card with Scoggins landing a first round TKO over Vaculik

Official Result: Scoggins defeats Vaculik via TKO (punches) at 4:43 of Round 1.


Krsysztof Jotko vs. Bruno Santos

A slow but serviceable bout ended in a decision win for Jotko as both men made their Octagon debut.

Official Result: Jotko defeats Santos via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)


Alex Garcia vs. Ben Wall

A quick match to start off a stacked card as Alex Garcia gets the quick knockout over Ben Wall.

Official Result: Garcia defeats Wall via Knockout (punches) at :43 of Round 1.
