UFC featherweight phenom Conor McGregor has never been short on personality in his UFC career, quickly becoming a fan-favorite as he has amassed a 2-0 record for the promotion.
The Irishman (like I had to remind you) may just make fans happy once more, hinting at a move to welterweight to take on a frequent ‘Fight of the Night’ winner, Diego Sanchez after the two took to Twitter to exchange harsh words towards one another.
McGregor agreed over the social media platform to a bout in his home country of Ireland, specifically Dublin. McGregor also stated that he has contacted UFC president Dana White, requesting the bout.

The bout is hypothetical of course as the weight class difference is immense. Yes fighters sometimes cut a ton of weight to make the divisional maximum but a fight between these two would mean little more than the settling of an online argument.
We will see if the fight ever materializes and what it will mean not just for each fighter, but for also for their respective divisions.
