UFC featherweight Frankie Edgar has revealed the team he brought on to help him coach against BJ Penn on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.
“I brought the guys I work with every day and believe in,” he told Bloody Elbow. I brought in Mark Henry, Ricardo Almeida, Renzo Gracie, Anderson Franca, and some of my teammates, Marlon Moraes, Edson Barboza, and Akira Corassani, so I just brought the guys I work with on a daily basis.”
The season recently wrapped taping, but unfortunately, Edgar can’t reveal much else ahead of the spring 2014 premiere date.
“The show just got done taping last week, it was a great experience, a lot of work, lots of fun, and I’m excited for April when it comes out,” he added.
