Two scary middleweights will face off on the rapidly growing UFC Fight Night 35 card. Additionally, a lightweight bout has been added with two fighters who are looking to establish a foothold in their attempt to climb the dense lightweight rankings.

Yoel Romero (6-1) showcased his deadly striking for the second time in the UFC against Ronny Markes and now looks to extend his streak against Derek Brunson (11-2). Brunson silenced critics of his UFC debut against Chris Leben as he destroyed UFC newcomer Brian Huston, submitting him after knocking him down with a vicious head kick.

Vinc Pichel (7-1) comes back after his first career defeat at the hands of Rustam Khabilov. He will take on Garett Whiteley (7-1) looks to do the exact same thing. Whiteley was TKO’d in his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 29.

UFC Fight Night 35 takes place on January 15 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
