Chris Holdsworth tapped Davey Grant out with a rear naked choke in the second round.
Holdsworth, a member of Team Tate, won by submission at 2:48.
With the victory, Holdsworth became the 18th season winner of the The Ultimate Fighter.
“All the fans out there I want to thank you for the support,” Holdsworth said in the post-fight interview. “I did this for you.”
Holdsworth controlled the first round with strikes. In the second round, Holdsworth took Grant down with a big leg kick to the head, before tapping him out with the choke.
Grant never was able to land much offense. Holdsworth seemed a step a faster than Grant, landing punches from and kicks from all angles.
Miesha Tate celebrated wildly after the victory.
