The heavyweights took over the co-main event as Ben Edwards debuts for Glory against heavy-handed Jamal Ben Saddik.

Jamal Ben Saddik vs. Ben Edwards

As is the rule for heavyweight fights, each missed punch drew a reaction from fans. Every punch had bad intentions. Saddik seemed to land more. He counter Edwards who was hard-pressed to land shots. Saddik stayed calm and found several openings in Edwards guard in round one.

The second stanza had Edwards the more successful. He landed significant shots and never took a step back, seemingly taking control of the fight. Saddik was quick to counter but Edwards just wouldn’t go away. It was a great second round in the heavyweight division and promised a climactic end.

Edwards smelled blood in the final round and swarmed Saddik who just couldn’t fire back. Edwards was relentless and pummeled Saddik until finally, Saddik fell to the canvas. The referee felt the 10-count was unnecessary and called an end to the bout.
