Mike Kyle has been forced out of his December 7th bout with Anthony Johnson at the World Series of Fighting 7 show. The announcement was made in a press release from the promotion.

The new main event will be the inaugural featherweight championship bout between Georgi Karkhanyan and Lance Palmer.

Coming up to fill the void on the main card is UFC veteran Khalib Starnes who will take on Dwayne Lewis.

The co-main event will be a rescheduled fight between Elvis Mutapcic and Jesse Taylor, which was supposed to take place at the WSOF 5 show in September but was scrapped after backstage controversy shrouded the fight’s legitimacy with allegations of substance use just before the bout.

Undefeated Nick Newell will also make his anticipated return against Sabah Fadai.

The World Series of Fighting 7 show will take place at the PNE Agrodome in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The main card will broadcast on NBC Sports Network.
