In what should be the twilight of his career, Vitor Belfort is better than he’s ever been, defeating top contenders in two separate weight divisions.
If he can keep that momentum going, Belfort may be poised to make UFC history and take a championship belt in a third division. If his recent tweet is any indication, he’s well aware of this fact, and can’t wait for his upcoming title shot.
I am ready for the middle title shot to get my 3rd belt in a 3rd different division!!! Looking forward to that!!!” pic.twitter.com/LMyq5IIVIR

Belfort was previously the UFC 12 heavyweight tournament winner, and the UFC light heavyweight championship in 2004.
He’ll face the winner of Chris Weidman vs Anderson Silva for the middleweight title sometime next year.
