After Antonio Rogerio Nogueira recently withdrew from his fight against Alexander Gustafsson, the UFC had to find a new opponent for the 6’5 Swedish giant.

It appears that UFC Tonight has announced “The Mauler’s” next opponent via Twitter:

“BREAKING: @GarethADaviesDT confirms that @AlexTheMauler will face @POSTERBOYJM on March 8th in London.”

The undefeated Jimi Manuwa has aggregated an impressive compilation of fourteen wins, thirteen by knockout and one by submission. No opponent has ever survived past the second round against the “Poster Boy.”

However, he has never fought someone of Alexander Gustafsson’s caliber before. The young Swede is five inches taller, and has come the closest to ever defeating current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones than any other opponent.

Both fighters are strikers, so it is likely that they will stand and trade with one another. We’ll see if Manuwa can overcome Gustafsson’s reach, or if Gustafsson can neutralize Manuwa’s power.
