Quinn Mulhern is set to welcome Katsunori Kikuno to the UFC at January’s Fight Night event in Singapore.
Kikuno is a UFC newcomer, but holds an impressive 21-5-2 record. The 31-year old fighter is a black belt in judo and karate, and has spent his entire MMA career in Japan. He is the former DEEP lightweight champion, and will be entering the fight on a five fight winning streak.
Mulhern went 3-1 in Strikeforce before dropping his UFC debut to Rick Story earlier this year. A former King of the Cage champion, Mulhern currently holds a 18-3 record. He’ll be making his lightweight debut in this fight.
Singapore’s UFC Fight Night event will take place on January 4. The venue and broadcast plans have not been revealed.
