Marlon Moraes Promised a Title Shot in WSOF

World Series of Fighting crossed a major milestone this past weekend, crowning Steve Carl as the promotion’s first ever champion.

Now it seems that they’re ready to turn their attention towards the bantamweight division, with top ranked prospect Marlon Moraes in the running for the next title shot.

“[WSOF President] Ray Sefo promised me my next fight for the title, so for me, I’m just waiting,” Moraes revealed to MMAjunkie.com Radio. “Let’s see who they’re going to get for me.”

Moraes is currently 4-0 in the WSOF, most recently defeating Carson Beebe in just 30 seconds at WSOF 6. He is now 12-4-1 in his MMA career.
