UFC welterweight contender Johny Hendricks reportedly suffered second-degree burns on his back and shoulder on the set of a UFC 167 commercial (which you can watch above).
Apparently, lights used on the set were placed too close to Hendricks. While the injury looks pretty grisly, Hendricks was luckily only out for a few days of training, and should be fine to compete in November’s 20th anniversary UFC event.
“Johny never gets pissed off about anything,” said manager Ted Ehrhardt. “He was just mad that it was messing up his training, that’s all.”
UFC 167 will take place on November 16.
