Joey “The Mexicutioner” Beltran has revealed that he is leaving the UFC following a decision defeat at the hands of Fabio Maldonado at UFC Fight Night 29.

Beltran has had a rocky career in the UFC, ending his run with a 4-6 record as a heavyweight and light heavyweight. His recent loss to Maldonado came on the heels of a suspension after he tested positive for nandrolone, likely giving UFC execs just one more reason to let him go.

He has not revealed what his plans are now that he’s been released from his UFC contract.
