Things just got scary in Bellator’s featherweight division.
19 year-old Brazilian featherweight Julio Ceasr Neves Jr., more commonly known in Brazil as “Morceguinho,” has signed with Bellator. For those MMA fans who who want to watch an up and coming fighter’s rise to greatness, this could be your chance.
Of his 28 wins, Neves has 17 knockouts, 8 submissions, with only 3 decisions; only 3 fighters have ever been able to survive long enough against Neves to go the distance to a decision. It should also be noted that he’s managed to finish 18 of his opponents within the first round!
In Brazil, Neves has displayed deadly skills in both striking and grappling. And at just 19 years of age, he hasn’t quite hit his peak of physical maturity yet.
Depending on how he well he performs in Bellator, he could very well be the next phenom in MMA.
