Roy “Big Country” Nelson has some choice words for his UFC 166 opponent, Daniel Cormier.

During yesterday’s pre-fight press conference, Nelson stated that his main strategy is not to let Cormier “hug” him.

“There’s a couple different ways [to win],” Nelson said. “I think the biggest thing is don’t let him hug me. Don’t let him push me up against the cage and just do a boring, ugly fight and piss the fans off. I think that’s the biggest thing you don’t want to do is piss the fans off because they are the ones that pay the bills.”

Nelson is likely referring to Cormier’s UFC debut, where he defeated Frank Mir in a fairly lackluster decision.

Nelson and Cormier will meet at UFC 166 tomorrow, with the winner in a pretty good spot for a potential title shot.
