On Tuesday, all 20 UFC Fight Night 29 fighters hit the scale for Wednesday’s bouts.
The weigh-ins took place at the Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil, the same venue that will host Wednesday’s fights.
UFC Fight Night 29’s main event will feature a battle of submission aces as No.4-ranked welterweight Demian Maia (18-4) against former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields (28-6-1).
In the co-main event, welterweights Erick Silva (15-3) and Dong Hyun Kim (17-2-1) will look to climb their way towards the top-10 ranks.
Also, Team Alpha Male standout and No.9-ranked bantamweight T.J. Dillashaw (8-1) will kick off the main card pitted against the No.5-ranked Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Raphael Assuncao (20-4).

UPDATE: Later on Tuesday, Thiago Silva hit the scales again and still could not make the 206-pound weight limit.
UFC officials stated that not only will Thiago Silva be fined 25 percent of his purse, but he will also not be eligible for any post-fight bonuses. This means that if he finishes his fight he will miss out on collecting bonuses upwards of $50,000.
