Bellator will be recognizing National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with special pink gloves that will be featured at Bellator 102. The effort is a cross promotion between Bellator and Everlast.

“We are honored to have our fighters wear Everlast’s new gloves inside our cage this Friday live on Spike,” Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney said in a statement. “This is a tremendous opportunity to showcase the importance of cancer research, and we will continue to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in [its] efforts.”

“The most important fights in the world are those that take place outside of the ring or cage,” Matt Cowan, Everlast’s EVP for marketing, sales and product stated. “Through our long-standing partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, it is our committed goal to honor and support those fighters and survivors around the world.”

Everlast will also be donating $1 from every sale of their CardioBlast heavy bag to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 25 cents from all purchases of its pink hand wraps, and $1 from each sale of its pink pro training gloves.

Bellator 102 will take place at the Visalia Convention Center in California. It will air live on Spike TV.
