Michael Bisping just can’t seem to shake his eye injury. In June, following his bout with Alan Belcher, Bisping had to undergo surgery for a detached retina. Then again last month, he was forced out of a bout with Mark Munoz for another round of surgery on the same eye.

This weekend, reports surfaced that Bisping had been rushed to the hospital yet again for unplanned, emergency surgery.

Luckily, according to his management, doctors decided that surgery was not necessary this time around.

Bisping’s manager did not disclose exactly what caused the eye pain though.

It also still leaves his recovery time a mystery. If he’s facing complications with his last surgery this soon, we may be looking at a much longer period of downtime than his previously planned four to six months.
