Just-signed UFC  fighter Sergio Pettis, brother of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, said fighting in the UFC will be a dream come true.

“I am very excited to be a part of the UFC family, and also to join my brother in this great organization,” Sergio Pettis said. “This means the world to me. It doesn’t even seem like this is reality. I’ve dreamt of this moment since I was 14, and now I’m here. It’s just so unreal to me.”

Pettis will fight Vaughan Lee Nov. 16 at UFC 167. Pettis said he’s ready to impress.
“I will not disappoint the fans on November 16,” Pettis said. “I have a lot to prove to the division, to the world, and to myself. When I’m at my full potential, I’m dangerous.”
Pettis said that although he has a similar fighting style to his brother, he brings different skills.
“I’m different from my brother. I’d say I’m more technical, and don’t do as many flashy moves, but I will still finish fights just like my brother,” Pettis said.

Pettis, currently the Resurrection Fighting Alliance flyweight champion, will reportedly fight as a bantamweight in the UFC. He enters the UFC as the bantamweight division heats up with the rise of Renan Barao, who has served as interim champion in the two-year absence of bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz

Pettis (9-0) defeated James Porter with a first-round kimura In Milwaukee on Sept. 28.
