UFC and WEC veteran Leonard Garcia has verbally agreed to face the undefeated Kevin Aguilar for the vacant Legacy FC featherweight title. The match up has been scheduled for Legacy FC 26 in December.
Garcia was cut from the UFC earlier this year after posting five straight losses. Despite this, he did pick up six “Fight of the Night” bonuses over his 17 fight run with the WEC and UFC. He is currently 17-11-1.
Aguilar is a Bellator vet with eight straight wins in his career. He signed with Legacy earlier this year, defeating Nick Gonzalez and Hunter Tucker in the span of just two months. He has only gone to a decision once in his career.
Legacy FC 26 will take place on December 6 at the Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, Texas. It will likely be headlined by the aforementioned title bout.
