UFC Signs Jared Rosholt, Will Debut at TUF 18 Finale


Jared Rosholt, the younger brother of UFC light heavyweight Jake Rosholt, has just been signed to the organization, and will debut at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale.

“What a day,” he wrote on Twitter. “Had a healthy, perfect second child today and the call for my UFC debut!! November 30th in Vegas! Again, what a day…”

Rosholt is currently 8-1 in his MMA career, and was a decorated collegiate wrestler, where his 125-27 record was Oklahoma State University’s best in the heavyweight division. Rosholt has won his last four fights, most recently defeating Anthony Hamilton in February 2012.

The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale will take place on November 30 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be headlined by a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez.

The current card is as follows:

• Demetrious Johnson vs. Joseph Benavidez
• Nate Diaz vs. Gray Maynard
• Jared Rosholt vs. TBA
