A lightweight fight between Joe Lauzon and Mac Danzig has been booked for December’s UFC on Fox 9 card in Sacramento.

UFC officials announced the bout on Thursday, but did not indicate if the fight will land on the main card or prelims.

Lauzon (22-9) has a record of 9-6 in the 15 UFC fights he has had since first joining, along with 12 fight-night bonuses. The Bostonian is looking to get back on a winning streak after dropping his last two fights. In his last outing, Lauzon lost a unanimous decision to Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night 26.

Danzig (21-11-1) has a UFC record of 5-7, and has been awarded four performance bonuses in his career. Like his UFC on Fox 9 opponent, Danzig is coming off a loss and looks to rebound after suffering a knockout at the hands of Melvin Guillard at the last UFC on Fox card in July.

UFC on Fox 9 takes place Dec. 14 at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif.
