The Las Vegas Review was the first to post that Josh Barnett Vs Travis Browne was being added to the fight card for UFC 168 and it was later confirmed by UFC officials. This should be an exciting match up as both fighters are currently doing very well. This card was already set to be an exciting event as Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey are set to settle their differences in the Octagon once again after an exciting season on TUF. The highly anticipated and career defining rematch between Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva is also on this card.
Josh Barnett is (5-1) in the UFC and in his professional MMA career he is (33-6). Clearly a force to be reckoned with. He left the UFC in 2002 after beating Randy Couture for the belt but failed a drug test and had to concede his victory. In his return to the UFC he took a win over Frank Mir and he has no intention to stop his win streak anytime soon.
Browne’s last fight was in August, he took a spectacular victory over Alistair Overeem after a first round stoppage. With only the first round loss to Antonio Silva to tarnish Browne’s record this is sure to be a fight you won’t want to miss.
