Melvin Guillard is changing his surroundings once again. The 31-12 UFC lightweight has changed management, and has decided to train in Florida with American Top Team, according to a report from MMAjunkie.com.
Guillard will now be represented by Malki Kawa of First Round Management.
Earlier this year, Guillard left the Blackzilians training camp, and was subsequently banned from returning to his former Greg Jackson-led team. He then made the move to the Grudge Training Center in Colorado. Now it seems he’s looking to keep things local with ATT.
He is currently 12-8 in his UFC career, and most recently defeated Marc Danzig via KO at UFC on FOX 7. His next bout will be against Ross Pearson at UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs Munoz.
American Top Team is currently home to fighters like Gleison Tibau, Cole Miller, and Mike Brown.
