Vitor Belfort is set to face Dan Henderson in about two months, and he’s hard at work making sure he’s ready.
Belfort is generally not known for taking fights to decisions, but he’s planning on being ready for a five round brawl anyways.
“It’s going to be intense,” Belfort said in an interview with MMAFighting.com. “I have 14 weeks until the fight, and preparation requires dedication and sacrifice. I’ll focus on winning the fight. I’m preparing myself for a five-round intense fight. That’s the way I predict the fight going.”
“It gives me more motivation,” he added. “He’s a tough fighter, but I’ll be ready to dominate him for five rounds.”
Belfort is currently 23-10, and is coming off of back to back wins against Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping. He is currently ranked #2 in the middleweight division.
UFC Fight Night 32 will take place on November 9 at the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil. It will air live on FOX Sports 1.
