UFC: More Matches Announced for UFC 166 and Fight for the Troops 3


The UFC has announced match ups for two of its upcoming events.

At UFC 166, Jessica Eye and Sarah Kaufman will both make their UFC debuts at the October 19 event. Eye currently holds a 10-1 record, including a recent lightning-fast submission victory over Bellator’s 115-pound female champion. Kaufman is the former Strikeforce bantamweight champion, and currently holds a 16-2 record.

A previously announced bout between Francisco Rivera and George. Roop has been moved from the event to UFC Fight for the Troops 3. Rivera is currently 2-1 in the UFC, and 9-2 overall, and is on a four fight winning streak. Roop last defeated former WEC champion Brian Bowles with a TKO. He is 4-5 in the UFC, and 14-9 overall.

Also added to the Fight for the Troops card is a match up between Dennis Bermudez and Nik Lentz. Former TUF winners Michael Chiesa and Colton Smith will also face off. Chiesa won TUF 15, defeating Al Iaquinta in the season finale. Smith is an active Army Ranger, and also the winner of TUF 16.

UFC Fight Night: Fight for the Troops 3 will take place on November 6 at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.
