Dana White just confirmed some unfortunate news, as UFC on Fox is reporting that Conor McGregor was diagnosed with a torn ACL. The injury occurred during the second round of his UFC Fight Night 26 bout against Max Holloway, and the estimated recovery is 10 months. It’s a devastating development for a fighter with so much momentum behind him, but we wish Conor a full recovery.

Conor was just featured this afternoon on Fox Sports 1, and had quite a bit to say about the top-10 of the featherweight division:
It will be interesting to see the state of the featherweight division once McGregor is able to return. If a few top contenders like Ricardo Lamas and Cub Swanson fall, it wouldn’t be unprecedented for him to rise much further up the rankings in the meantime. Stay tuned for additional information.
