The recent Biogenesis scandal has made headlines in baseball recently, with high-profile athlete Alex Rodriguez implicated as one of those who may have taken PEDs provided by the now-defunct clinic Biogenesis of America. Documents provided by former employee turned whistleblower Porter Fischer led to the suspensions of more than a dozen MLB players.
Now it seems, the scandal may be turning towards the UFC. Fischer recently revealed that several MMA athletes are included in the patient records that are now being investigated. In response, White stated that this is a commission issue, and called it “another fucking headache I don’t need.”
Earlier this week, White again reiterated that he has no plans on looking into the matter further.
“Bad shit finds me – I don’t need to find it,” he told MMAjunkie.com. “I can tell you this: I haven’t heard one word about any of our guys being involved in it.”
“These guys get tested by the government; I don’t give a shit about Biogenesis,” he added. “I’ve got so much shit to do. I can barely keep up with what I’m doing now. I’m not going to fly down there or get on the phone with these guys.
“Believe me, if bad shit is going to happen, it’s going to come to me.”
