UFC: Middleweight Rankings

As we look ahead to the rest of 2013 and beyond, the middleweight division is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing the UFC has to offer. Anderson Silva’s reign lasted nearly seven years, at times making it difficult for the UFC to find a worthy opponent capable of threatening for the title. Depending on the result of the rematch later this year, Chris Weidman’s upset victory over the pound-for-pound kingpin has the potential to create some intriguing match-ups down the line. The two are set to square off again on December 28, 2013 at UFC 168, and another Silva loss would spell the end of an era. How would Weidman fare against the submission skills of Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza? Can Chael Sonnen work his way back into contention? Has Vitor done enough to earn another shot? Take a look at the official UFC rankings, and let us know who you believe will be fighting for the middleweight title in the future.
