What the hell is going on with Nick Diaz? He is a wild man with a very busy life. Recently retired after back to back losses to Carlos Condit, and Georges St-Pierre, Nick Diaz has stayed active and their are many rumors surrounding him. Recently, on BJPenn.com Nick Diaz’s manager Cesar Gracie was quoted saying the Diaz had been offered a new UFC contract. “As far as his fighting and everything. He’s been in Vegas, he just got back a couple of days ago. There’s an offer on the table, that’s all I can say. It’s something everyone is looking at right now, and discussing it with him. Dana has offered him a fight. There is an offer on the table, I can’t say who it is, but it’s kind of neat I think. But no decisions have been made for sure.” After Cesar Gracie was quoted saying this however, he went back on it in an interview some time later, saying “I was misquoted by BJPenn.com, there’s no bout agreement. There’s no new contract.” This came as a disappointment to many Nick Diaz fans who wanted to see him in the octagon again, but Dana White has reassured the MMA community, “Nick Diaz is under contract with the UFC, whenever Nick Diaz wants a fight, I’m more than happy to get him a fight.” It is reported that Nick Diaz has recently broken up with his girlfriend, and is hungry for a fight. So there is hope to see MMA’s bad boy back soon.
