The Shamrock brothers always had a certain level of beef and drama ever since they were little kids. Both being adopted by Bob Shamrock and taking on his last name. There has always been talks that eventually these two would end up settling their differences inside the cage and end up duking it out. Something that only fans would want to see realistically and something Bob never wanted to witness.
Looks like for the time being, their beef is over and done with. They are looking at a potential business opportunity for each other and it looks like everything is smoothing itself out. Frank Shamrock discussed his plans with MMA Fighting:
“We sat down and really had a conversation, and I think our relationship is back on track. We’ll see where it goes. There’s a business opportunity that got us sitting down for a couple of hours. It was really nice. It was very positive for both of us. It feels good to put it behind you, to move on emotionally. Kind of have that feeling of rest, that’s the best part for me. It’s a new chapter, move on. It’s been a long time.”
It’s about time that they squashed their beef. There’s no reason for two brothers to have this much hatred and disdain towards each other. Maybe it was because Frank was able to defeat Tito Ortiz and Ken couldn’t do it. Maybe not, but at least they’re trying to work things out.
