20th Anniversary UFC Show Gets A Big Welterweight Main Event!

The 20th Anniversary UFC show that takes place in November has a main event that will decide who’s the best welterweight in the world. Georges St. Pierre and Johny Hendricks will collide in a bout that has all the makings to be an earth shattering main event. This bout should of happened last year but with Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz having some unsettling beef. Dana decided to put Diaz in, taking Johny Hendricks respected spot in the main event.

The 20th Anniversary show will indeed be a big event. Don’t be surprised if they add another title bout as the co-main event. They will do everything that they can do to make this event a memorable one.

Georges St. Pierre is one of the greatest welterweights of all time. He’s a two time welterweight champion and will be looking to defend his title for a ninth time.

Johny Hendricks has looked phenomenal. He defeated former contenders Jon Fitch, Carlos Condit, and Josh Koscheck to earn his long overdue title shot. Hendricks has the style to present some interesting problems for the champion.

Hendricks has the wrestling pedigree to give GSP real problems. St. Pierre has always been the fighter to dictate the pace with his high caliber wrestling. Can he do the same to Hendricks?

Hendricks has a wicked left hand that can knock out anyone at any moment. Jon Fitch and Martin Kampmann have been knocked out senseless with a left punch by the man known as Bigg Rigg.

Who do you think will take this bout? Will the champion be able to come up with a game plan for the hungry number one contender, or will we see a new champion?
