Anthony Pettis Out. Chan Sung Jung Meets Aldo In Brazil

Looks like one of the biggest featherweight title bouts will have to wait for now. Dana White announced on twitter that Pettis injured his knee and is unable to compete at UFC 163 in Brazil. Taking his place will be “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung. Aldo has stated that he didn’t like how Pettis jumped in line for a shot at the belt. Well now he’s facing one of the true top contenders in the UFC.

Chan Sung Jung is more then deserving to compete for the belt and this fight has all the tools to be a real barnburner in Brazil. The Korean Zombie is currently on a three-fight winning streak. He was able to defeat Mark Hominick is seven seconds at UFC 140 and pulled off the first twister submission on Leonard Garcia at UFC fight night 24.

Jose Aldo has been on a mission since joining the WEC/UFC. He’s currently on a 15 fight winning streak and is undefeated during his time in the WEC and UFC. Aldo has openly stated that he wants to challenge himself after this bout at UFC 163 and compete for the lightweight championship if victorious.

Both of these competitors have what it takes to make this bout a truly memorable affair. They know how to bring and give the fans in Brazil a night that they will never forget.

Will the Korean Zombie have what it takes to put an end to Aldo’s dominance of the featherweight division or will Aldo continue his destructive ways?
