Jose Aldo is the current UFC featherweight champion. He’s defeated Kenny Florian, Frankie Edgar, and Chad Mendes. Without a doubt, his current challenger could be his toughest one.

Anthony Pettis is a natural lightweight looking to win a shot at gold. He ‘supposedly’ texted Dana White after the UFC 156 press conference stating that he wants his shot at Aldo. Now, it seems, he’s gonna get it.

There have also been talks that the winner of this bout will also becomes one of the top contenders for the lightweight championship. Do we have another super fight on our hands? Only time will tell. . .
