Josh Barnett and Frank Mir are two of the most active heavyweights of all time. They still compete at a high level and a bout between these two can be considered a “dream fight” in some ways. They both have exceptional grappling skills and are both former UFC heavyweight champions.

There are plenty of fans that’ve wondered who would win between these two great heavyweights. Looks like we’ll be finding out soon enough. They’re scheduled to compete at UFC 164 in Milwaukee.

Frank Mir is currently on a two-fight losing streak. He was defeated by Junior dos Santos at UFC 146 and Daniel Cormier at UFC on Fox 7. Frank Mir needs a win to re-establish himself as an elite heavyweight. A loss here would hurt the former champion and move him further down the heavyweight ladder.

Josh Barnett’s looking to make a statement in his return bout in the UFC. He’s competed for organizations like Pride, Strikeforce, Dream and Affliction. A win for Barnett would move him to the upper echelon of the division. Fights with Overeem, Nelson, and Werdum are all possibilities if he can defeat Mir.

Who do you think will win this heavyweight clash of the titans?
