Chuck Liddell was one of the best light heavyweight fighters of all time. His trilogy bouts with Randy Couture helped put the UFC on the map. His intense rivalry with Tito Ortiz at UFC 66 helped establish Zuffa by being the first pay-per-view to hit over 1,000,000 buys.
He competed against the best and solidified his legacy as a hall of famer and a true pioneer for the organization.
Chuck Liddell recently discussed with Fighter’s Only magazine his thoughts on Anderson Silva and if he thinks that he has what it takes to beat him in his prime.
“I would beat him, I always said that I would. I have the advantage in weight and height, so it would be more likely that I would beat him. But Anderson is one of my favorite fighters.”
We don’t know exactly what would happen if these two fighters would of competed against one another. The fact that both like to “bring it” and deliver for the fans. You’d have to assume it would of been a helluva good fight.
