At UFC 160 this weekend, we get to witness a true dream match up. If you are a fan of knockouts, or just people punching each other relentlessly in the face, then this fight is perfect for you. Junior Dos Santos and Mark Hunt are two of the most explosive, heavy handed heavyweight fighters currently in the UFC.

Junior Dos Santos is the best pure striker in the heavyweight division. He’s extremely methodical with his relentless pace and his ability to attack his opponent with multiple combinations is unmatched. His bout with Roy Nelson at UFC 117 was a bout where his full striking abilities were on display.

Before Mark Hunt started his mixed martial arts career, he was a all star in K-1. Competing with the best in kickboxing, eventually working his way up to the K-1 title. His submission defense is considered sub-par at best, but that’s not the issue here. Junior Dos Santos has already stated that he wants to stand and bang with Mark Hunt, and that he knows that he can knock him out.

There is no way that this fight will go to a decision. These two are going to go out there guns blazing and put on a show for the fans in Las Vegas. I’m sure the bouts with Cain Velasquez, Donald Cerrone, and Glover Teixeira will all be great fights with the potential to be fight of the night winners. But, for the true knockout fans, Junior Dos Santos and Mark Hunt is the bout to watch.

The winner gets a title shot, and the loser gets knocked out cold. This is fighting at its best, plain and simple.
