Looks like Jon Jones could compete again at the end of the year. Jon Jones’ toe was seriously injured during his bout with Chael Sonnen at UFC 159. He recently posted on Twitter this picture of him wearing his new heavy duty boot. He stated that the bones are healing “spot on” and that there are currently no infections on his toe.

The dislocation and skin damage takes approximately 6 weeks for it to heal up. With MMA regulation looking to pass in New York in seven weeks. We could end up seeing a big fight in Jones home state. The question is, with who?
