Tate Vs Carmouche In The Works

The women’s bantamweight division continues to keep impressing. Perennial contenders Miesha Tate and Liz Carmouche are being discussed as potential adversaries at UFC on Fox 8.

Liz Carmouche recently competed in the first ever women’s bout in the UFC. Being defeated by Ronda Rousey by first round arm bar in the main event of UFC 157. Carmouche was almost able to get the upset applying a face crank early in the first round.

Tate recently lost a top contender’s bout against Cat Zingano at TUF 17 finale. Winner of that bout coached on The Ultimate Fighter 18 against Ronda Rousey and will compete for the title at the end of the season.

This fight is crucial for both competitors. If either one of them want to earn another shot at the bantamweight championship, a loss here will more then likely prevent another opportunity for these fighters.
