UFC Boss Wants Second Opinion On Dan Hardy’s Heart Condition

Dan Hardy was currently pulled from his opening main card bout against Matt Brown on UFC on Fox 7. Due to recently finding out that he has a serious heart condition known as Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. (A rare heart disorder that sends electricity through the heart upon its second beat.) If they are not able to find a solution to fix this condition, Dan Hardy’s time in the UFC as a fighter might come to a close.

Dan Hardy seems upbeat about whole situation, leaving it in the UFC’s hands. Knowing that he has not had any issues with his heart in the past and competes at the highest level in mixed martial arts. The UFC knows that Dan Hardy is popular in the UK and they will continue to want to use him on their international cards.

Dana White stated that they will be getting a second opinion on Hardy and will send him to the best heart surgeon in the country in Los Angeles for further evaluation.

No matter what happens, it looks like the UFC will be taking good care of Dan Hardy.
