Dan Hardy was currently pulled from his opening main card bout against Matt Brown on UFC on Fox 7. Due to recently finding out that he has a serious heart condition known as Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. (A rare heart disorder that sends electricity through the heart upon its second beat.) If they are not able to find a solution to fix this condition, Dan Hardy’s time in the UFC as a fighter might come to a close.

Dan Hardy seems upbeat about whole situation, leaving it in the UFC’s hands. Knowing that he has not had any issues with his heart in the past and competes at the highest level in mixed martial arts. The UFC knows that Dan Hardy is popular in the UK and they will continue to want to use him on their international cards.

Dana White stated that they will be getting a second opinion on Hardy and will send him to the best heart surgeon in the country in Los Angeles for further evaluation.

No matter what happens, it looks like the UFC will be taking good care of Dan Hardy.

  • Hahaha the UFC needs Dan Hardy

  • The world is coming to an end if Dan Hardy stops fighting.

  • I wonder how mad the U.K. people are…. lol

  • Put Hardy in a test fight to see whats happens….

If there’s one thing the UFC does it’s take care of their guys, Dana offered to pay for any and all of Mayhem Miller’s therapy if he wanted it

    • Mayhem is a lunatic, he should’ve took the offer

    • Christopher Reza

Its nice to see UFC do that also, especially for some of the injuries that happens.

  • Christopher Reza

Evan, agree to the fullest extent. I always read about an injury and the first thing is how UFC, or Dana is making sure the top care is provided to the fighter.
