Matt Mitrione Suspended For Verbally Abusing Fallon Fox

Matt Mitrione has been suspended by the UFC for a “significant” breach in the UFC’s promotion’s “Code of Conduct” on Monday after his verbal insult on Fallon Fox during “The MMA Hour”

Matt Mitrione revealed on “The Mitrione Minute” his thoughts on the recently outed transgender fighter Fallon Fox, and they weren’t very nice.

Back in March when Fox came out there has been TONS of debate and scrutiny by the public, state and fighters in the sport over her fighting other women. Through performance dehancing drugs Fox was originally a male turned female.

Mitrione, usually being a light-hearted jokester took a turn to “seriousville” via Skype explaining:

“That is a lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak aFand I mean that. Because you lied on your license to beat up women. That’s disgusting. You should be embarrassed yourself. And the fact that Florida licensed him because California licensed him or whoever the hell did it, it’s an embarrassment to us as fighters, as a sport, and we all should protest that. The woman that’s fighting him, props to you. I hope you beat his ass, and I hope he gets blackballed and never fights again, because that’s disgusting and I’m appalled by that.”

This was in response to host Ariel Helwani’s question as to why he hated Fox so much.

Mitrione continued to call Fox a “he” and even went as far as to make the comparison to Chris Brown and Rihanna’s relationship, back when Chris Brown beat up Rihanna after the Grammys saying he hasn’t “seen a man beat a woman like that since Chris Brown beat Rihanna.”

Then he made another comparison with Fox to the “Silence of the Lambs” serial killer Buffalo Bill. “Maybe instead of being ‘the Queen of Swords,’ Fallon Fox should consider being ‘The King of the Buffalos.”

This was all one mans opinion and this whole situation is a very huge issue with many people supporting and others not. Mitrione obviously doesn’t support Fox at all but maybe he went a little over board with everything he said during the show. It’s was pretty explicit in the words he used and just hateful.

Allana Jones from the Championship Fighting Alliance has however agreed to fight Fox on May 24 and there hasn’t been anything from the state of Florida to object.

Should be interesting to see how all this plays out if Fox ends up winning a lot. That might start to make people think that it is some what of an un-fair advantage.
